Many of you have been aware of our need to find a job that would sustain our family during this time as we prepare to leave for Croatia. It was a much harder road than we thought it would be. God didn't provide an opportunity right away. In the midst of it we were crying out and asking God "Why?" And in the words of Garth Brooks, "some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." He didn't give what we wanted right away and it forced us to our knees, forced us to be completely dependent, forced us to realize we can't walk this road in our own strength. Amazingly, He kept providing exactly what we needed for each day. God proved that he is faithful in our lives and that he is with us through this journey. We will take these lessons to Croatia and when times get hard you better believe we will be on our knees, dependent, and working in God's strength. All of this to say that a good friend of ours texted me last Saturday saying there might be a "long-term, temporary" position at Bosch. It is exactly the amount we need to sustain our family and it includes medical benefits! It is such an answer to prayer. It was a moment where we we felt like God was saying, "I got you."
I will be starting on Oct 8th and the job will continue until the end of December with the possibility to carry on in the new year. Thank you to each of you who were praying and kept asking us how things were going. You are such a blessing to us.
