The other day I was reading the passage in Luke where Jesus says, "the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few." It's a line everyone in the church world has probably heard before. Whether it was from a pastor, a speaker, or some missionary talking about all the needs that are out there (yes, I have said it, as a matter of fact I say it in our video).
So we are all pretty familiar with that part, but as I was reading it there were three words that Jesus said immediately afterward that have been on repeat in my mind.
The response to a harvest being so plentiful and not enough people on hand is that we ought to pray. Earnestly. Pray that the Lord would send people. Pray that the Lord would move on behalf of those who need to hear about him. Pray about if the Lord wants you to be a part of the process. Pray earnestly!
So with this etched in my mind we are inviting anyone and everyone over to our house next Tuesday, September 2nd, for a time of prayer. It will be from 7:30-8:30 PM and will be an opportunity for us to pray earnestly for the work God is doing in Croatia currently and what he will do in the future.
Will you join us in praying earnestly? Come over for an hour to pray and then you are welcome to hang out afterward or get going if you need.
Here are the details so you can throw them in your calendar:
Date: September 2nd
Time: 7:30-8:30 PM
Address: 3S110 Rockwell St Warrenville, IL 60555
Let us know if you're interested in coming
